Statement from former KYA HS3 Lieutenant Governor Evan Wheeler

Louisville, KY - Today, former KYA HS3 Lieutenant Governor Evan Wheeler issued the following statement:

Friends, I am so grateful to have been part of this incredible experience. This was, by all metrics, the best KYA ever held, and I am very grateful that I have been blessed enough to participate in it. A thank you must go out to my campaign manager and trusted advisor Anya Sheth, as well as the many other people who helped me in other ways, including but not limited to Olivia, Lillian, Mara, Margot, and Caroleen. A thank you must also go to my original advisor, Mr. Perri, as well as my current advisors: Ms. Handley, Ms. Grace, and Mr. Cardwell. The biggest thanks, however, must go to all of those who voted for me. Together, we made the change we wanted to see. When I first ran for Presiding Officer, I was in seventh grade, and now, four years later, here we are. We have achieved our goals. With that being said: is this the end of our journey? Well, as to that, all I can say is we’ll just have to wait and see.
